Dr. Gohar Ghalustian is a distinguished constitutional lawyer, PhD holder, and esteemed teacher and researcher in public law. She has been actively contributing to both the academic and Armenian communities for years. Based in Montpellier, France, Gohar serves as a professor at Montpellier University and the University of the West of France, where she imparts her extensive knowledge in French and comparative constitutional law.
Her involvement extends beyond academia; Gohar is the Vice President of Montpellier’s Armenian Association and a member of the French Association of Armenian Lawyers Council. She has played a pivotal role in the success of the French Armenian community, particularly in lobbying for significant international foreign policy gains for Armenia.
As the 2023-2024 Youth Ambassador to Armenia, representing Montpellier, Gohar brings her passion for Armenian culture and advocacy to the forefront. She actively participates in various community events, such as the Euro-Armenian and Pan-Armenian Games, and organizes cultural initiatives like concerts to promote Armenian heritage.
Gohar’s work emphasizes the importance of maintaining cultural identity, fostering strong community ties, and engaging in effective lobbying. Her professional and personal efforts have significantly impacted the Armenian diaspora, highlighting her commitment to bridging connections between Armenia and the global Armenian community.
