What Kaitzak Is & Its Relevance

Kaitzak is for everyone. It is independent and designed to promote the goodwill and generosity of our communities. It embodies the real meaning of grassroots and looks to amplify the voice of the individual.

For anyone who has worked within their communities as volunteers, the experience of giving to the community can come at a great personal cost. Cost of time spent with loved ones, time spent on work and prosperity, and time on one’s self. These are the great sacrifices that people make, providing their most precious resource to the community which can never be regained. We think this is an incredible sacrifice and one that should not be taken lightly.

In order to create a mechanism to more show value and appreciation of this sacrifice, we have set up Kaitzak, a progressively governed, independent organisation with a single purpose:

To uplift and amplify the generosity and goodwill, i.e. the sacrifices and contributions, provided to the community and made by individuals and organisations alike.

So how does that look when zoomed in a little? Well it’s pretty simple:

1. What are we doing?

Finding people who are doing awesome things in any field – are they running a successful business, are they giving up a lot for their communities, are they researching something special?

2. How do we do it?

Write about them, support them, talk about them, donate to them, make sure as many people as possible know about them and what they are doing – we want people to see the possibilities and the amount of amazing contributions being made, which largely go unnoticed

3. What is the result?

Inspire other people and provide them a a blueprint to follow in the footsteps of the community’s greatest individuals. This can be academic, entrepreneurial or in a philanthropic capacity.

4. What’s the goal?

It’s critical all members of the community, young and old, to see that their contributions are actually making a difference, making the community stronger and work towards a larger and unified future goal. It’s also critical that the individual benefits in a reciprocal relationship with the community. It’s not sustainable any other way. If we benefit, we all need to benefit together. It’s a simple yet highly effective principle:

So this is the time now. We’ve made the platform, it’s here for you to use. If you think it’s important that our communities grow and innovate so we can all pull each other up together, this is your chance to contribute to a no-strings-attached organisation, with no political and religious affiliations, where you will not be ostracised for having your own, unique views.

Cmon, let’s elevate our community together.

Connect. Amplify. Flourish.
